- Select the event start date/time and end date/time.
- Optionally provide physical venue details or virtual webinar links in the Location field.

- Download your vector SVG or PNG to include on conference badges, invitations, or flyers.
About This Format
A Calendar Event QR Code formats appointment data into the RFC 5545 iCalendar (VEVENT) specification. When scanned using built-in smartphone cameras, iOS and Android parse the schedule parameters and prompt the user to add the event directly to their calendar (Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Microsoft Outlook) without manual scheduling.
Validation & Technical Constraints
- Enforces RFC 5545 syntax: Event end timestamp must not precede start timestamp.
- Uses strict CRLF line delimiters and backslash escaping for commas, semicolons, and newlines.
- Calculates ISO 8601 UTC timestamps accurately.
- Client-side execution: Event dates, descriptions, and venues are never stored on external servers.

Frequently Asked Questions
Virtually all modern smartphone calendar platforms natively support RFC 5545 VEVENT objects, including Apple Calendar on iOS and macOS, Google Calendar on Android and Web, and Microsoft Outlook.
The generated code includes standard UTC timestamps. When scanned, the recipient's phone automatically translates the UTC start and end times into their current local device time zone.
