SVG is recommended for physical printing. PNG is ready for digital usage.
Generated entirely in your browser. Static QR codes encode destinations directly into the matrix and never route through an intermediary redirect service or expire.
How to Use
- Enter decimal latitude between -90 and 90 (e.g., 37.7749).
- Enter decimal longitude between -180 and 180 (e.g., -122.4194).
- Optionally enter a label or place name to show a custom map pin.
- Download your vector SVG or PNG for event posters, invitations, or real estate signs.
About This Format
A Location QR Code encodes coordinates using the RFC 5870 geo: URI scheme. When scanned by a smartphone camera, the operating system detects geographic coordinates and opens the user’s preferred navigation app (such as Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze) pinned to the exact coordinates.
Validation & Technical Constraints
- Validates coordinates against RFC 5870 decimal ranges (-90 to +90 lat, -180 to +180 lng).
- Query labels are safely URL percent-encoded.
- Zero server geolocation lookups: Processing runs entirely inside your browser.
